Off to the wild blue yonder

Well come Monday we are off to Texas for two weeks, then we'll be back up here, in time for Rod's brother's arrival. Plus Easter plans with both families and other things such as that. So Ado to all of you untill mid of April. Sunday, Sunday, we went bowling, we bowled 8 games, boy was my wrist sore after that, we also had pizza at Larry's. We bowled alright though Rod beat me EVERY game...grrr to him I say. I did manage to make a couple strikes, though that still did not improve my score, you'd think it would! Otherwise we've been busy with fixing the truck, grocery shopping and laundry. So that is all from the farm.

Skiiing, Hutchinson, Movies

So this week started out awesome and ended awesome. We left for Duluth on Monday the 6th, got there afternoonish, Rod hit the ski slopes right away. We were staying in one of Spirit Mountains villas, because our friend Rhonda had rented them earlier in the year. Meanwhile, I was left with 5 14/15 year olds and had to navigated them to the Miller Hill Mall. They are all punk rockers though, so it was just like being in High School all over again for me. We got there, a little turned around, but we made it to the mall. The girls managed to spend oodles and oodles of money, what they do best. Hot Topic was our 1st stop, one of my fav. stores too. I ended up with 2 Ramones hats, one, a beanie and the other a baseball cap. SWEET!!! We ate at Old Country Buffet and fun was had by all. (The next day was SUPPOSED to be our last day, however we got Rhonda to let us use a another villa night and stayed another day, that day which was the 7th) In the afternoon I took the girls bowling before they all had to go home, hehe great story.... We stopped at the first bowling alley (I had called ahead and was informed they had lanes open) yeah well, it was senior bowling, you could smell the ben gay, the old people looked scared of us...so we walked out, oh yeah polka music was playing over the loud speakers. So I throughly tramitized some teenagers. It took us awhile to find another bowling alley, but we managed with several stops and turn arounds. They got to play one game before we had to head back to the Villa. The girls and Rhonda headed home, Rod and her son Aaron stayed, we had switched to a diffrent villa by this time, they skied, I got stuck in the parking lot, managed to melt it out with ice de-melter. I took a hot tub and watched cable while the truck thawed itself out. Yeah, I picked them up off the slopes close to 7, the next day more people came up with Rhonda to ski (her other kids) they skied half a day, I went shopping for pants, and we headed home.

Thursday, we spent a day with our friend Connie, took her shopping, went to get our new plates for our truck. We also stopped several places along the way AKA bar hopping, we slid down the BIG TURTLE in Perham and stroked the otters ass in Ottertail...Rod rode the otter! We ended up back at Connies, drank and talked the night away. We had a hella good time, and connie did too! Rock on!

Friday, we screwed around, went to the library, ran our neighbor into town, pissed the day away.

Saturday, we left for Hutch. we took the back roads, stopped here and there for snacks and such. Got in Hutch. Spent some time with other friends and there kids. Went to my moms, picked up the shit we needed to get and talked a little. Plus tried on clothes she bought me. Went back to our friends, had a bonfire, grilled out, got attacked by small children. Much fun was had by all. Sunday, we went FOUR WHEELING! IN THE MUD!! wooooohoooo, I got all muddy, it was teriffic, my boots will never be the same, same color, same texture, same anything! I woke up with a smack in the head on Monday, we were snowed in monday morning, the kids didn't have school, the littlest kid who is 1 managed to get stuck in a chair, how in the hell she did that, I'll never know. We got her out though. We left Monday Afternoon, Ended up at our friend Ken and Connies again, stayed the night, watched movies, I fell asleep with the cat on my butt. I woke up this morning with there new puppy scratching, biting and licking me awake. The cat had since moved.

So yes, this has been my week, sounds exciting huh? Don't you wish you could've done all this? I bet you do, you jealous little bitches! Love you all!

Good News/Bad News

Well let's see, today in the mail, I received notice that I have 7 days to transfer our title or we have to put DWI tags on it, which costs us more money, I hate the government. However, I do have plenty of time to do that, seeing as Rod's last work day is TOMORROW! No more working for free for him!!

The GOOD news is that we may be able to go to Texas for 2 weeks, which would be super nice, even though it is getting warm here, it seems like spring even though we got snowed on last night. We only got an inch, but we all hate snow, because nobody likes to plow there roads up north, or so it seems. So That is my wonderful day so far, at least it evened out!

Hmm otherwise, nothing else is new, oh wait! I also got a coupon in the mail, because I complained to a company, so I get free popcorn!! Not just ANY popcorn! CHEESE popcorn, YUMMY! Okay, so that is my lame news, and lame ranting! I hope that you have as good a day as I do!
