Ditch Day

Today, didn't start out so good, this moring I had some trouble getting home. Luckily I had yogurt and a bravarian cream, which helped fuel me to deal with the situation. To get home, we have to travel around two curves (Curve Road). I misjudged the curve, went into someone else's tracks, I ended up half on the road, half in the ditch. I only have a two-wheel drive pickup so I was stuck. I ended up walking from the curves up the drive which is about a mile or so, not too mention it was cold. The whole way up the drive I was dreding that I would have to tell my father-in-law that he would have to come and pull me out. Seeing as I had just rolled and wrecked my care the previous month, I felt like a loser.

When I got up to the house, dad told me he was starting to wonder if I'd gone in the ditch because I am normally home by eight, it was eight fifteen. I thought he'd be dissapointed or upset. Instead he proceeded to tell me that Rod had done the same thing at least twice (possibly three times). He also said "You're not the only one that has gone in the ditch there, I've pulled a couple people out of ditch there" Yeah so that made me feel better and I think that was dad's way of saying don't worry, it'll be okay and I love you. Dad at least showed me today that he does accept me. Which is something I needed to learn today, so today was a good learning day. I'm glad I went in the ditch, because it made me feel a part of Rod's family!

Well, Rod is here now, we have a date today, I am all spiffed up, so I am going to go! Have a happy day and hopefully you learned something today too!

Du, dunt, du, dunt, du, dunt, dunt dunt, dah dunt, da, da, dunt

Okay, so I saw Pink Panther in D.L. on Valentines on Tuesday with Rodney. That was an absolute blast, it was nice to get away from the house for awhile. He got me a pink shirt, a blue monkey, but most of all my gift was that he took the day off of work! We got to sleep in and spend time together. It was a lot of fun to have a day to ourselves again, it's been a while.

Yesterday I was notified by mail that my Divorce is now Finalized!! I was actually divorced the day before Valentines Day! I thought that was mighty cool! We celebrated yesterday kind-of, I hope to celibrate more on Sunday, maybe with a frozen pizza and some Sprite. Seeing as I can't drink!

We also decided on Valentine's that we are most likely going to wait a year till we get married, that just seemed more reasonable! So that is about all that is going on in my world lately, I have to get going though, I have to pick up Rod. Mmm, so I hope everyone had a good Valentines, and it isn't too cold!

I apparently no longer have a memory....or so I think

So, thank you one and all for such lovely and wonderful comments. Michael I am sorry that I ALWAYS lose your fuckin' number, but like my lack of memory, I have a lack of orginization too! So I beg you to please forgive me, look at me I am down on my knees...okay okay, so I lied, I am not, but at least I tried to get you to think I was....

Okay mmmm to answer Allie's question I am due, well Rod when am I due....

and the great wise rod says "end of september, first part of october"
he just got off from "work"-don't ask about the quotations, all part of the twistedness...

Um, what else, Rod is getting scruffy, I told him he should grow a beard, and oddly enough, he listened. I guess valentines is still being figured out, maybe a movie, maybe a trip to hell...okay maybe not the latter... okay so I have deer hide to drop off, yes you heard me, a deer hide, and the place is going to close on me, so I better get going, yea, I get a hat or gloves or a knife for a deer hide, exciting!!

Xanga would take too much time to edit and "fix"

Okay, so for those of you who know me quite well, I have had a Xanga blog for a lonnng ass time, but seeing as I can't erase all of my old entries at one time. Which is what I wanted to do, because my life has started over and I've gotten a fresh start... one would think this calls for a changed blog. Anyways, I decided to start a new blog, elsewhere, because it's simpler and I can't even remember my other password, and it just seemed hopeless.

Soooooooo, where in the hell have I been all this time? I left my husband, thank god I came to my senses! I started falling for a guy that I actually had known for awhile...and actually my ex-husband introduced me to him, which makes me laugh!! Yeah, so I started dating him, his name is Rodney, by the way, and well things are working out wonderfully!

We are now engaged, he proposed the end of December at his family Christmas, you know he is serious, when he does it in front of his own family! I was actually surprised and elated at the same time. I know that it looks funny from the outside and as though I always move too fast, but this time, I know it's real. It's this feeling you get in your heart, in your gut and no it's not gas. I've never had this feeling before.

Okay so the proposal is only PART of my news. My other news is that I am going to have a baby, that's right people, I am going to be in charge of raising a child. God help us all! Correction, god help the innoccent child! AND YES, Rod IS the father!

Shew, so that's only part of what's going on, the rest is well, kind of a weird, twisted tail, something I don't care to go in at this moment. And prob. won't want to for some-time.

Hmmm, well anyways,we are still in Mn, we WILL be moving back to TX as soon as we can, that's part of the twistedness. Otherwise, I can't think of anything else that I can say, I guess if you have questions, mmm comment.

For now it is time for me to sign off.
